How to Avoid Germs in Public Restrooms

Why public toilets so avoided and regarded as a breeding ground for germs? For some people, it is not a public place and ordinary spooky, but for some others, a public place is a horrible area, the source of all disease-causing germs and dirt, especially public toilets. The place looks bright and clean though can not be considered free of germs as the wearer is a lot of people and places that used far more often than your personal toilet at home. Therefore, the following three main things you can do to avoid contamination from the public toilets.

1.       Minimize
Avoid touching the surface of the toilet, both door handles, walls, water faucets and floor. Do not use wipes are left open attached to the surface of the sink, on the wall, especially on the floor. Also avoid putting wipes, diapers, underwear and other personal items in the bathroom surfaces. If forced to, then put a clean plastic base before placing it.

2.       Use running water
Water that is allowed to stand in a bathtub in a while would be a medium growth of germs, especially if the surrounding environment is not clean. Public toilets are very prone to this, so do not use water in the tub to rinse your body. The safest way is to use wet wipes, but if not possible, use direct water flow from the faucet.

3.       Wash hands with soap
The last part is the most important and should not be forgotten. Even if you managed not to directly touch the surface of the bathroom, make it a habit to wash hands with soap before leaving the toilet. Do not rush while soaping your hands, rub gently at least 20 seconds before rinsing. Then remember to not open the door of the toilet with your bare hands, use a paper towel to hold the door handle.
